How do I get started?

When should I book you?
Booking should be done as soon as possible. Booking process is automated through the shop so you can see my availability. To book further out, please contact me.
What happens when I book you?
Once you have paid your deposit for your desired month, you will recieve a contract to sign and a link to a form to fill out.
How long before I get my cover?
This varies depending on the complexity of the project. Average turnaround time is 2 weeks. Initial concept design(s) are usually sent within a week of your project start date. Booking is done monthly on a first-come, first served basis.
Can I use my own photo?
Yes. You can use your own photographs or photographer stock photos, provided you can supply proof of license and it is at least 300 dpi and large enough for the cover. Quality is important.
How do I credit you?
Credit must be given as follows on the copyright page of your book: Cover design © Lori Follett of www.HellYes.design. Failure to do so is a breach of contract and your licensing use will be revoked until this is corrected.
Payments and Refunds?
A nonrefundable deposit is required to book and final balance is due upon approval of the final design. A one-time adjustment for blurb and/or spine width may be made free of charge after this. Invoices are sent via email and can be paid via PayPal. A PayPal account is not required. Deposit is nonrefundable. Payment plans are available. Please contact me to make arrangements.
